Nineteen-year-old Souad is living a double life. On the one hand, she blends in, living a conservative life with her family in the small Egyptian town of Zagazig. On the other hand, she is obsessed with her image on social media and becomes involved in a series of online relationships with men. After a number of incidents and a tragic event, her younger sister Rabab sets out to discover Souad’s real life.

The film is a powerful portrayal of the dilemma faced by a young generation trying to fulfil society’s expectations while simultaneously longing for freedom. It is a captivating story, told through director Ayten Amin’s documentary aesthetic and compelling performances from its largely non-professional cast.
