PARIA
Filmforum Ludwig Ticketshop
The Ofori family - Samuel, Sarah and their daughter Faith - are forced to flee Ghana after Samuel, a police officer, is investigated for a corruption scandal. The family found refuge in the Netherlands. As they settle into their spacious new home, they hope to make a fresh start. But their new-found peace is short-lived... The seemingly perfect facade of their new home begins to crumble, revealing a terrible labyrinth of horrors. Blending the genres of thriller and horror, PARIAH deals with prejudice, violence, discrimination and institutional racism.
