Released from prison with a suspended sentence for assault, Anita learns of the sudden death of her boyfriend Serge. She finds comfort among Serge's circle of friends, particularly his best friend Shema. As a dancer in a bar in Kigali, Anita tries to launch a singing career. However, she has to deal with her anger and memories of Serge. MINIMALS IN A TITANIC WORLD explores the torments of youth as it grapples with doubts and dreams, love and death. In this debut feature film, director Philbert Aimé Mbabazi Sharangabo offers a delicate reflection on grief and the resilience needed to face the future.
