Mercy, a single woman, desires an engaged man and is convinced by a friend to concoct a love potion. In their city apartment, a couple reads in the newspaper about a street child having turned into a yam after picking up money from the street that didn’t belong to him. Chinwe and Joy are roommates. Joy mysteriously gets rid of everything that might come between them. JUJU STORIES is an anthology in three chapters, created by Nigerian collective Surreal16. They use humour to explore urban legends and the power of juju in Nigeria.
