In an isolated town, missing persons reappear after many years, under mysterious circumstances that hint at a deeper, darker unease. Police inspector Fathi and his friend Amine, a doctor, investigate before the arrival of a special unit. Away from the hustle and bustle, a crow and a blue dog observe humanity and question its nature and decline. Blending thriller and fable, AGORA is inspired by real events and depicts a town haunted by its past. Filmmaker Ala Eddine Slim denounces the abandonment of entire communities as a result of the authorities' failings and a glaring political vacuum.
