Live music at the festival

Omar Jatta

Omar Jatta, from Solingen, is a German Afro artist whose roots are in Gambia/Senegal. With his music, he wants to tell everyone who we are and where we come from. He wants to express the experiences and stories of his languages in a language that the German public can understand, like an interpreter. As “upcoming act of the year” 2023, he was able to share the Tunecore stage with greats like Darkoo, and last year he opened for Summerjam, where he was on a lineup with greats like Burna Boy. And he was there again this year. The aim is to give concerts with his team that spread his cultural roots and motivate others to stand up for themselves and give their best.
